I'm so sorry I didn't post the next day!!!!! Really!

She pondered over why Corran would be here. Yes, he was a mechanical genius, but he just didn't fit the description of being. . .in this mansion. Yama decided to walk around a bit to look for Corran.
Yama got up off of the barstool and began walking toward the grand staircase. She thought she heard someone yell,'Yama!' but she paid no attention to it and walked on. She met a young woman coming down the stairs and stopped her for a question.
"Do you know if a young man named Corran Cedars was invited to this party?" Yama asked her.
"Well, yes, I think he was invited. But I haven't seen him yet. You may want to ask the lady of the house! Her name is Marsi, and she's in the room at the top of the stairs all the way to the right. I just came form there," the woman replied.
"Thank you," Yama said.
Without another word, she turned and began walking up the staircase again. She knocked on Marsi's door, and a small voice said,"Come in!"
Yama opened the door and Marsi motioned for her to have a seat. She pretended to have not seen her gesture.
"I am looking for a person who may be at your party. His name is Corran Cedars," Yama explained.
Marsi's eyes lit up at his name,"Yes, he's here. I was just talking with him. Here-let me take you to his room."
"No, that's not nessecary. I'll just come back when he's not busy-"
"Nonsense! He's just reading a book! But, may I be so bold to ask, what does this concern?"
Yama was quick to answer,"I'm an old friend. I was in town and thought I'd drop by to see him."
"Oh," Marsi said in an annoyed tone. "Well, follow me."
Marsi hastily got up and opened the door for Yama. She stepped outside and Marsi led her to another set of stairs, this time spiraling. Once they where at the top, Marsi knocked on the first door to their right, and Yama immediately heard Corran's voice,"Yes?"
Marsi opened the door and stuck her head inside,"Corran, dear? There's someone here to see you."
"Who is it?" he replied in his sweet voice.
"An old friend," Marsi replied.
"Oh, great! Send them in," Yama could see Corran's bright smile in her head.
